oh mary ann, i feel like that's really good news for cheyenne. it sounds like you've put together such an excellent team to care for her. i also think probably when you're in the middle of doing it, you might not realize what an amazing thing it is that you're doing. it's really quite extraordinary mary ann.

and, of course, cheyenne herself is amazing. such a perfect example of the spirit and heart of these dogs we love so much.

i was at the vet half the day myself. gotta go do some research and post again in the senior health section.

lotsa snow here, stay warm, take care!

The heart news is truly miraculous...the more I sit here and think about it. I had googled stage 4 heartworm the other night and read in detail...and it was horrible...to have a normal functioning heart today...really...is nothing short of a miracle.

Now...to get to the bottom of this lung issue.

They are a wonderful team...yes...I feel very good about that.

Thanks to everyone for their kindness...seriously..you all would do the same...you are all wonderful!!

Gosh...I have to get over to that senior section...I apologize..I haven't been keeping up. Please know...if I can help anyone...email me or pm me!

Mary Ann, I think the senior section is pretty good right now. You need to concentrate on taking care of Granny Cheyenne. I think right now she needs your attention. If you need any thing from us you just give a shout out.

Sending more healing vibes to Cheyenne.

We will be keeping our fingers and paws firmly crossed here that Miss Cheyenne responds well to the abx and her surgery can go ahead. hugging I love how he wrote on her notes that she is a good patient smile Of course she is, she is the beautiful graceful Miss Chey! Keeping you both in my prayers.

What a sweet pic. I know it's hard Mary Ann, but yes...do take advantage of these precious moments and take lots of pictures always - even if they are not doing anything special. Hugs to you and give Cheyenne a big hug from me and the gang. Enjoy your weekend!

I am playing catch up again and was so happy to hear the heartworms are gone! That is most wonderful!

I know it is still a long road with many concerns, but that Chey is here and fighting her way through this - I'll say it again, that is a testament to the love and care she is getting from you and your family.

And how are the kids doing during all of this. I know they must be worried about Chey. (here is where I would insert an emoticom with a dog and kids - if we had one.)

I hope you are able to find some time to relax with all the high stress levels. The picture is wonderful.

Mary Ann,

Thanks so much for the new picture. Cheyenne reminds me of French vanilla ice cream, with that slightly mottled white coat enclosing pure sweetness.

I would like to have your attitude about life in general: to stop a while to smell the roses.

cheers,
MJ
