Reports about recovery are very exciting!!!
I just got an update from a senior chihuahua whom I had pulled almost three years ago wheezing with acute pneumonia. The pound even gave her a rabies shot on top of that at release, it almost sent her over the top. She wasn't even to be shown to rescue as nobody at the pound expected a rescue to take her. She had a will to live though, and was full of character, so I pulled her. She recovered. Had one relapse since, last year, caught early, and overcame that, too. Her mom emailed me last night that "Daisy is ticking strong, and refusing to eat the same thing every day. She is a prima donna extraordinaire!" That made me think of Grannie Cheyenne!
We keep sending healing energy to Cheyenne. I am so glad she is feeling better. And you, too.
PS Daisy was on antibiotics for weeks. She also had quite a heart murmur, I forgot the grade. And dental disease. She got a dental cleaning, came out of it great, my vet does excellent anesthesia.
