Jean, your photos and captions are great. Funny person=funny dog, hehe.

How did you you end up with a solid black background for that gorgeous portrait of Mila? Also love the 'are you listening' shot. Very dignified woman.

Did I say how much I love her coloring? Gorgeous senior! All that gray makes her age that much more gracefully. Keep the pictures coming.

Anyway, good luck at the eye doctor's.

Maybe I'm wrong but I remember Jean having some conflict about fostering Mila-maybe her career? It again proves that some hearts are always big enough for one more.

As much as I love fostering puppies (more likely forget the pain, kind of like childbirth) you can bond so easily and quickly with an adult. Especially one who acts like your dog, with just a little difference.

She looks big in that side shot - she's 60# right now. She's lost almost 30# since leaving her mom - which is great, but bad in how she probably lost it - stress and sadness. "defeated protective shell" is exactly it, isn't it? Now she runs up and gives kisses - she is just a sweet, sweet girl. It seems like these dogs are all just waiting for the chance - and a person to give it to them - not just me!

Donna - I zoomed so she was framed with a dark background behind her on the right - almost totally black - there was a window and a nice light and a nice shadow, but didn't realize I had gotten it til I looked at the pictures. Then I just made the black true black, and cloned black on the left the corner that was the floor. I over did the eyes - she has the cloudy haze and I wanted to take it out. I also missed a spot on the right that I need to fix!

AND she has (one confirmed, one said they were coming last week did not hear lately) 2 people coming to see her on Saturday at Meet/Greet. Isn't that so cool for a girl that I would say was older if I didn't have her sister who is definitely not older, nope, she is not. paranoid2
