Covenia (cefovecin) for lyme:
First generation cephalosporins are not effective against lyme. However, later generation cephalosporins may be. There is some evidence that the covenia hot may be effective against lyme:

This abx shot will make an individual more susceptilbe to clostridia infections, and one common major side effect I hemolytic anemia, which can alo be seen with many TBD coinfections.
