Well, it hasn't happened to me but I've heard reports.
Speaking of reports - 2 inches of snow this morning....
Just when I was thinking about pulling the snow tires!

Ok, it rained yesterday. It rained the day before yesterday. It rained today. It will probably rain tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow.

It is so foul.

It is terribly depressing to have nothing but rain and rain and rain and rain and rain and MUD.

This is SAD -- Seasonal Affective Disorder or something like that. So many people in this latitude have it. And my increased sugar/fruit isn't really helping. Probably because I am doing more sugar than fruit. But maybe it is a vitamin deficiency, Vitamin D lack from no sunshine.

I HATE this crap!!!

Ok, I've ranted. I will be good for a couple of hours now...

My friend's 18-year old daughter want us (her mom, my husband) to enter MUDHERO with her next year, so we can "train" for it this year... I haven't decided yet.

Kathy, your tale reminds me of growing up in north puget sound area -- the yard would nearly flood and for the first few years we had boards placed as walkways - very slippery! I suggest caution and a pontoon boat for you.

My parents yard would flood regularly along with their side lot. One time when I was a teenager, we had this blow-up boat and I blew it up, and got in at the sidewalk, went all the way down the side lot and across the back yard by the boat. Really neat at the time.

Then one day I realized I was old and would look ridiculous if I did that and many other things, so I have much less fun now.

Selzer --- but soon you will be old enough that you can go back to doing those things and no longer care if you look ridiculous!! (Sounds to me like you need a "stupid activities" day)
