It is foul.
If I am not chopping away at the chips in the ice and having them ricochet into my eyeball, then the dogs are dancing in a puddle in front of the gate while I am trying to open it, and the water get splashed into my eyeballs.
I got Moof groomed on Monday. On Tuesday I crated him so he would stay clean for at least a day. Wednesday he was out with Cujo and today he is black again. Uhg!

And raining again here. It was supposed to be a nice dry, sunny weekend. So far we have not seen any sunshine but we have seen rain. 5 weekends straight of rain, snow or ice. Forecast this week now calls for rain every day. We can forget the drains this week, too muddy to dig.
Sick of it and getting depressed over it.

Looked like fog when I first got up. Then it was snowing! Big, fat, wet flakes. Turned to rain. Sun came out. Now mixed as it was raining a bit, then cloudy, now some sun but rain coming in from the sw. (Mt. Bachelor?) Oops make that probably over the entire cascade range...
However - Found a clump of seven yellow bells and others growing in close proximity to one another. I'd seen two solos earlier. Desert Pasely is in bloom, cushion phlox and some other stuff too. Subtle except for the yellow bells.
Not too muddy but damp enough to hold off on work on the juniper. We really need a drop in temps in the mtns with the precip so we get some snow pack. There is nothing up there now. (drove over and back yesterday).

Bloody cold again.
At least I am not sawing away to get into my runs. But I have killed another pooper scooper scraper, and I am sick of having to attack the frozen stuff to get it off the concrete.
If it isn't frozen it is muck. Pure muck.
It is depressing.
A drought at this point would be a pleasant change. And I live on a well. Uhg!
I did check my propane gauge and it said I had between 5% and 0% which means I have about 20%. Which is good because it has been 6 days, and they have 8 more days to get me my propane. In January, it ran out, totally empty in 3 weeks. Crazy cold.
And after crazy cold is mud to look forward to. It is gruesome.

21 degrees here. Cold all day. Cold yesterday. No snow, just the remnants of what we had, but that can change in a heart beat. Got chicken in the trunk of my car, and I am hoping it doesn't freeze before I get it home.
