I can't believe it's been a year. My life seems incomplete without her. I still sometimes call her in from the yard, or reach for her food bowl, or almost buy her that new toy I know she would love. I suppose it's the mark of a very good dog that they leave such an emptiness behind. On the other hand, I often do feel her with me. I would swear I just heard her soft 'huff' as she would often do while looking out her window. Her comforting presence lingers. One year, my girl. But you are still here.

I can't believe it's been a year. Her comforting presence lingers. Has it really been a year? I can't believe it. Her comforting presence definitely lingers. Love the pics of your dear, sweet Skye. She was a regal lady and will live on in your heart for eternity.

I remember my first year without Cody, it was certainly difficult but I had two other dogs to also care for so they helped me ease my mind. Almost 5 years later I still mourn for him but usually only around his day of passing. It does get easier to cope though. I fear too soon I will be going thru this with Isa.. Skye was a beautiful lady They definitely leave impressions on our hearts forever <3

Beautiful Skye. I'm so sorry you are missing her. Skye truly was a legend. So much like ve, wisdom, and kindness in her. I am thinking of you as you miss her, and wishing you comfort.
