Surveilance question

Neighbor dogs need control. Two weeks running they have not let people out of their trucks at my gate. They harass my dogs and me and never mind my horse... They charge up to my fence and up to my gate (which is recessed on my property.) My camera is slow (and so am I!) so I have not been able to get photos of them at the gate which is what I need to really press the issue legally.
To get this documentation, I need information on a video camera that I can post at the gate. The house is 300 feet from the gate so hard wiring isn't going to work. Any advise on what to purchase for this? There's got to be something out there. Maybe a trail camera?
(BTW neighbor has started cursing me out semi-regularly - he's on 5 acres across the road from my 10)(Lovely.)

Thanks. This afternoon I think I got what I needed with my old slow still camera. Will try for more as I track down the FedEx driver the dogs wouldn't let out and wait for my good neighbor who has had a problem with these dogs gets back in town. Trail camera does sound like the ticket though.

Well, more fuel. Before today, I knew that the dogs/dog had kept a FedEx driver in his truck for 10 to 15 minutes; threatened to bite a neighbor; concerned another contractor a couple of years ago. Today I learned that two weeks ago, one of the dogs gave my lawn guy a hard time when he went to get back into his truck after closing my gate.
This WILL be stopped.

Middle, I didn't get my camera's today it will be a couple of weeks, I guess it either didn't notice the shipping time or they were out of stock. OK I just checked it had Prime but with a notice that it required extra processing time.
I hope you can get this resolved.

Thanks Val, I may not be needing the trail cam. after all.
I managed to get a second still one of the dogs at the gate - for the record today at 7:29 AM PDT ;P . So I have one right after they were talked to about this and another three days later. It should be enough to do something with, especially when coupled with other incidents.

Well, the lens cover didn't open completely so I'll be in the "market" for another photo just in case. I think what I have will do but I should be able to get a better one. I'm disappointed because I was so happy with having the camera out and ready for this one. Third time is supposed to be a charm so we'll see.

Good luck. I too was going to suggest a trail cam.
