I stay away from the rice. They say that people should not eat rice more than twice a week due to the arsenic concerns. My dogs are on Taste of the Wild dry and Merrick canned food. I've had great luck with both. I hope you find something that works for your boy.

Thank you Rosa, right now he is on bland diet of beef and rice. I hate to give him rice but right now it is needed, until his stomach settles I did try pumpkin but that made it worse. I like taste of the wild but for my boy it is too many proteins for him. I will keep looking.

That's good news. I am changing to TOTW because Chewy.Com no longer
carries Acana.

I am looking at the lamb and rice nutrisource for the future and what to know if anyone has ever feed it and what you think about it. My dog seems to have a sensitive stomach. Thanks

Merrick has a Limited Ingredient food with a single source animal protein. They have two different formulas. I would give that a try. How old is your dog?

I highly recommend NutriSource. My Sammy has always had a sensitive stomach and allergies. We tried several foods before settling on NutriSource, which is grain free. He does great on it as do my other dogs. We use the chicken because he's allergic to lamb. This is a family owned company and they have never had any recalls.

Hi my dog is getting better, he hasn't had kibble for 5 days. I am ready to start some and I was looking at Pro Plan SS (lamb and oatmeal) or NutriSource, or going back to Fromm, but I think Fromm right now maybe to rich. What do you guys think?

I would definitely feed Nutrisource instead Proplan.

I am feeding Earthborn Holistic. I use three types, mixed. One of them is Meadowfeast. It's ingredients are: Lamb Meal, Peas, Tapioca, Canola Oil, Pea Protein, Pea Fiver, Flaxseed, Natural Flavors, Blueberries, Cranberries, Apples, Carrots, Spinach, Salt...

protein 26%, Fat 15%, Fiber is 5%, 400kcal/cup.

I feed this and the bison and the chicken/turkey mixed together. My dogs eat it all, stools look good and weight is coming back on most.

Had to switch off of Diamond Naturals, Chicken and Rice, a few months ago.
