And Risa's career officially comes to a close. She just earned her AKC Trick Dog Performer title. It's her 6th title this year and her 10th new title after blowing a disc in her back almost 2 years ago (wasn't sure she'd be able to compete again). Not bad for my almost 14 year old dog who, on paper, should never have even made it into the ring. Fearful of people and places. Dog reactive. Never an easy dog to trial with but such fun to work with. I'm sad to see it's over but so thankful for the journey.

Bittersweet. Happy that Risa was able to gain so many titles after her injury and sad to see it come to an end.
