My dogs seem to do well on it. I feed "Working Dog" diet. It's not cheap but the company is friendly and willing to deal directly with small orders. One thing that I find handy is the bag it comes in - zip lock nonetheless!

Usually when a known nibbles varies in color, texture, or size, that's a signal that something has changed in the processing. It might even be the contents and that doesn't have to show up on the label for months.

My experience is that some changes in color and/or smell may indicate that it's a bad bag that has been compromised.

I am feeding the lamb of dr gary's and I was wondering what color is your kibble?
The reason I am asking is that the first two bags of mine were dark brown, now the third bag is light brown. Also his stool was solid with the dark brown.

Check which formula you ordered. Working dog is a fairly dark brown kibble. If you picked up a different formula, it will probably be a different color.

Hi I buy the lamb formula and everything is okay, I spoke to the company and he said somethimes color can vary because of natural ingredients. He is very nice and I think he is an honest man. My dogs stool was soft that one day, but now it is solid even though the color is slightly lighter. I think I overfeed him that day and plus he ran a lot to. So in a nutshell color varying is not a bad thing for this brand of food.

Yes, there is natural variation, but always remember that it can also be a warning flag.

Yes I know I just remembered it happen to me with holist select, and my dog had diarrhea. So I guess it does depend on the brand.
