Probiotics and Histamine levels

Histamine Derived from Probiotic Lactobacillus reuteri Suppresses TNF

Probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus downregulates FCER1 and HRH4 expression in human mast cells

This is the strain found in Culturelle (sp?), but the study shows that a combination of the probiotics studied would be most effective.




PROBIOTICS to AVOID when there is a histamine problem.

Lactobaccilus Casei increases, Histamine and tyramine
Lactobaccilus Lactis
Lactobaccilus Fermetum/ Fermenti
Lactobaccilus Paracasei
Lactobaccilus Bulgarius , increases Histamine
Streptococcus Thermophilus
Enterococcus Faecium
Enterococcus Faecalis


GOOD when there is a histamine problem

Lactobaccilus Sporonges
Lactobaccilus Gasseri
Bifidobacteria Breve
Bifidobacteria Longum

Lactococcus Lactis
Lactobacillus Planatarum, inhibits Tyramine
L.Reuteri Ö elevates Histamines short term but raises anti-inflammatory camp levels
